This
unique application was specifically designed for the sales, sales
support, and purchasing activities of your company. It is window
intensive providing the user with quick access to the many elements of
data required to prepare a sales quote or make important purchasing
decisions.
Sales Quotes
Sales Quotes can be used to quickly check a customer’s price for an
item, produce quotes for customers or prospects, and handle a complete
sales transaction from start to finish. Since it is completely
interactive with the inventory, customer, sales order, and purchasing
files the
salesperson always
has the most current information available. All the information is
displayed on one screen that maximizes the effectiveness of your sales
personnel and insures the fastest response to your customers and
prospects.
With
one keystroke you can move from quotes to any other files quickly and
easily. If, for example, you need additional information about a
customer while doing a quote, one keystroke will take you to the
customer’s file, let you review the data and come back to where you left
off in the quote.
Purchasing
Like
Sales Quotes, the Purchasing function is designed to provide the access
capabilities to critical data needed to make intelligent purchasing
decisions.
Beginning with the item to be ordered, you can determine previous
vendors, check detail information on the vendors including QC statistics
and open a worksheet or a purchase order to one of those vendors or a
new vendor.
You
can continue to add products to open worksheets or purchase orders and
at any time fax the worksheets to one or multiple vendors for quotes or
fax a purchase order to a selected vendor.
All
of this creates a purchasing function which is fast, accurate and easy
to use.
Cardex
The
Cardex option will maintain a record of up to 60 sales and 60 purchase
transactions on every inventory item. The number of transactions
maintained is controlled by the user, and may be defined differently for
sales and purchases. You may also control the specific inventory on
which a cardex record is kept.
Key
information is maintained and displayed on the cardex records. For
sales transactions; Customer ID, transaction dates, quantities, dollar
amounts and unit price. For purchase transactions; Vendor ID,
transaction dates, quantities, dollar amounts, and unit cost.
Telemarketing
This
function allows you to track your sales activity with your prospects and
customers. In addition to complete demographic data about the
customer/prospect, the system will allow you to enter messages and
comments that document your follow-up activities. These messages may be
printed and/or displayed on the screen.
The
system provides for a Last Activity Date, Last Call Date, and Next Call
Date. Recall intervals, in days, can be set for each
customer/prospect. The Next Call Date can be automatically updated by
the last call or last activity.
